Will the wedding be held in Korean or English?Our wedding will be in both Korean and English! We’ll have a bilingual service to ensure that everyone can follow along and be part of the celebration.

What is a Western - Korean wedding like?Our wedding blends Western and Korean traditions. The ceremony, in a beautiful penthouse with outdoor views, will be in both English and Korean. The groom will mingle with guests beforehand, while the bride stays out of sight. After the ceremony, we’ll enjoy a buffet of Korean food with plenty of options for everyone. Later, we invite you to a second location for a fun, Canadian-style reception with games, drinks, food, and dancing!

What is the dress code?We invite you to join us in your best semi-formal or cocktail attire. Wear something that makes you feel elegant and ready to enjoy this special day with us.

What time does the ceremony/reception start?Please arrive at the ceremony venue by 5:30 pm / 17:30 so that you can enjoy mingling with the groom and guests before the event begins. The ceremony will start at 6:00 pm / 18:00. The ceremony and dinner will run for around 2-3 hours, and we will be relocating to the reception venue via private transportation after.

Will there be a meal?Absolutely! After the ceremony, we’ll be serving a delicious dinner buffet where you can enjoy a variety of dishes. Throughout the evening, we’ll also have snacks and drinks available to keep the energy high and the celebrations going.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?Please let us if you have any dietary restrictions and we will contact the venue for a solution.

Will there be transportation between the ceremony and reception venues?Absolutely! We’ll arrange transportation to make it easy for everyone to get from the ceremony to the reception venue. We want to ensure you can relax and enjoy the evening without any hassle.

Is there parking available?Parking is available at the hotel, however we recommend using public transportation because it is located outside of Myeongdong station, and there can be heavy traffic in the area.

Will there be events after the ceremony?Yes, definitely! After the ceremony, we invite everyone to join us as we move to a new location for an evening filled with fun. We’ll be heading to a charming hanok house nearby, where we can enjoy music, drinks, and a variety of Korean and Western games.

What is the best way to get to the venue?Our ceremony will be held at the Migliore Hotel in Myeongdong, which is conveniently located next to Myeongdong Station. If you’re not staying at the hotel or in the nearby area, the metro is a great and easy option to reach the venue. For the reception at Waoak Hanok Bar in Jongno, we will be providing private transportation to and from the hotel, so you can enjoy the evening without worrying about travel. Alternatively, the Jongno Bus 11 also serves the area and operates until 11:00 PM.

What airport is closest to the venue?The closest airport to the venue is Incheon International Airport. For our guests travelling in from Canada, we are investigating group transit from the airport to Myeongdong, where a central hub for transit and where our wedding will be held. For more details, please contact us.

What airfare rates should we expect?We understand that airfare can be a big factor in planning your trip, and we want to give you a rough idea of what to expect. Rates can vary significantly based on your departure location, the duration of your trip, your airline, and whether you’re flying in and out of different airports. For those traveling from Toronto’s Pearson Airport, round-trip fares are typically around $1800–$2500. If you're departing from Vancouver International Airport, you can expect rates of approximately $1500–$2000.

The average temperature hovers around 13°C, with daytime temperatures typically reaching 18°C and dropping to about 7°C at night. Rain is infrequent, so you can look forward to crisp, clear autumn days. We suggest bringing layers to stay cozy and comfortable throughout your stay.
